Role Overview
The CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures in collaboration with radiologists, adhering to department standards and age-specific criteria. They serve as a customer service representative to patients, families, and medical staff, participate in quality control and performance improvement activities, and act as a technical resource for colleagues and radiologists. The role requires flexibility in job assignments and shifts to meet departmental staffing needs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- California Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association
- National Registered Technologist – Radiography
- Within 1 year: Registered Technologist – Computed Tomography
- California Fire and Life Safety Card within 30 days
