CT Technologist – CT Scan

Role Overview

The CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures in collaboration with radiologists, adhering to department standards and age-specific criteria. They serve as a customer service representative to patients, families, and medical staff, participate in quality control and performance improvement activities, and act as a technical resource for colleagues and radiologists. The role requires flexibility in job assignments and shifts to meet departmental staffing needs.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
  • California Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire
  • National Provider BLS – American Heart Association
  • National Registered Technologist – Radiography
  • Within 1 year: Registered Technologist – Computed Tomography
  • California Fire and Life Safety Card within 30 days

Preferred Experience

  • At least 2 years of hospital or outpatient imaging experience performing pediatric and adult CT scans
  • Key Duties

    • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures following department standards
    • Provide excellent patient care and customer service
    • Participate in quality and organizational improvement activities
    • Support colleagues and radiologists as a clinical and technical resource
    • Remain flexible with shifts and job assignments to support department needs
