CT Technologist provides high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging to support accurate diagnosis and exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate CT equipment and optimize scanning protocols for accurate results.
- Verify exam orders, assess patients, and prioritize patient comfort, communication, and safety.
- Administer or assist with IV contrast as needed, following established procedures.
- Ensure proper radiation protection and adherence to safety standards.
- Document exam details in EMR and archive images in PACS.
- Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency in CT imaging operations and protocol selection.
- Strong patient assessment and communication skills.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and radiation protection practices.
- Ability to work effectively with clinical teams and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Competence with EMR and PACS documentation workflows.
