Role: CT Technologist responsible for delivering safe, high-quality imaging and supporting patient care in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT procedures accurately following department guidelines, capturing diagnostic images.
- Operate imaging equipment independently, ensuring optimal image quality with minimal radiation exposure (ALARA).
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of rooms and equipment, reporting issues promptly.
- Obtain patient history, verify orders, and ensure patient safety and comfort using AIDET communication.
- Administer contrast agents and perform exams with proper technique, including venipuncture.
- Review images for diagnostic quality, make necessary adjustments, and document appropriately in RIS/PACS.
- Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and maintain life-support equipment.
- Organize workflow, support departmental operations, ensure compliance, and assist with patient transport and clerical tasks.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Minimum of 1 year radiology experience.
- Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS (American Heart Association).
