Role Overview
The position involves functioning as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) providing anesthesia care in a hospital setting. The role requires collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other medical professionals to deliver safe and effective anesthesia for various medical and surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in ongoing professional development
- Provide direct patient care and document all care activities
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to anesthesia services
- Complete pre-anesthesia patient records, review laboratory data, and initiate anesthesia induction as appropriate
- Maintain safety standards, working in a constant state of alertness
Qualifications & Skills
- Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant role
- Current RN Anesthetist certification
- Preferred: Master’s Degree in Nursing
