Corrections LPN provides compassionate, high-quality nursing care in a correctional healthcare setting under RN or provider supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and urgent patient assessments.
- Administer medications and assist with treatments and procedures.
- Provide wound care and support chronic disease management.
- Support intake screenings and ongoing infection control efforts.
- Deliver health education to patients.
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
- Follow security procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with strong clinical nursing skills.
- Ability to deliver patient-centered care in a secure, high-accountability environment.
