Role Summary: Coordinates and supervises nursing care on an assigned unit, ensuring delivery of high-quality, safe, and cost-effective patient care.
Responsibilities: Provides direct patient care, supervises staff, conducts performance appraisals, manages staffing and supplies, addresses performance issues, and communicates effectively with team members and patients.
Assists in developing nursing policies, supports evidence-based practices, mentors staff, ensures regulatory compliance, and promotes a positive work environment aligned with Magnet philosophies.
Handles patient and family concerns, follows up on incidents, and ensures proper documentation.
Qualifications & Skills: Enrolled in a BSN program with at least 2 years of nursing experience. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
