Clinical RN – High-Risk Cardiology (Night Shift)

Role Overview:

Provides direct patient care in a high-risk cardiology unit, focusing on assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. The role involves promoting patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management and post-treatment needs, and ensuring safety and quality compliance. Collaboration with an interprofessional team and proactive communication of care plans are essential. The position requires critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and barriers.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing; RN license required
  • No prior experience necessary; preferred qualification includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with 2+ years of experience
  • Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a safety-sensitive environment

Key Duties:

  • Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and care planning
  • Educate patients and families on health management and medication
  • Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives
  • Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with team members
