Role Overview:
This position involves creating and implementing staff education and professional development programs to enhance patient outcomes within a newly integrated inpatient spine unit. The nurse will assess educational needs, develop training activities, and collaborate with staff and leadership to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate ongoing educational and professional development activities.
- Collaborate with staff and external organizations to develop and evaluate clinical training and continuing education.
- Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Work with leadership to identify educational needs and develop appropriate plans.
- Engage in professional development and lifelong learning.
Qualifications and Skills:
- BSN required; RN license essential.
- 2-5 years of experience; no supervisor experience needed.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Nursing, 5-10 years of experience, and Basic Cardiovascular Life Support certification.
