Clinical RN Educator – Integrated Spine

Role Overview:

This position involves creating and implementing staff education and professional development programs to enhance patient outcomes within a newly integrated inpatient spine unit. The role requires assessing educational needs, developing training initiatives, and collaborating with staff and leadership to promote safety, quality, and compliance. The nurse will gain experience in both neurologic and orthopedic nursing, caring for patients with diverse spinal conditions and surgeries.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate educational and professional development activities.
  • Collaborate with staff and external organizations to develop and deliver clinical training and continuing education.
  • Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Partner with leadership to identify educational needs and design appropriate training plans.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • BSN required; RN license essential.
  • 2-5 years of nursing experience; supervisory experience not necessary.
  • Preferred qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Nursing, 5-10 years of experience, and Basic Cardiovascular Life Support certification.
