Role Overview:
Seeking an Oncology Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to support a solid tumor team in a collaborative healthcare setting. The role involves providing expert oncology pharmacotherapy support, educating patients and caregivers, and contributing to cancer treatment advancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patient health status and medication profiles to optimize outcomes.
- Monitor therapy progress and document activities and communications.
- Participate in professional development, research, and quality assurance programs.
- Assist in performance improvement, clinical effectiveness, and drug use evaluation.
- Educate and mentor pharmacy staff, residents, and students.
- Support targeted drug cost reduction initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD) and licensure in Medication Therapy Services in MO.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience, with 2-5 years preferred.
- Strong collaborative skills, clinical judgment, and commitment to patient-centered care.
Additional Details:
- Work Monday through Friday, daytime hours, with some weekend coverage.
