Role Overview:
Seeking licensed pharmacists to join a dynamic, clinically focused environment. Responsibilities include assessing, monitoring, initiating, and modifying medication therapies based on patient condition and age, ensuring accurate dispensing, and resolving medication-related issues. You will supervise support staff, evaluate medication orders for appropriateness, and serve as a medication therapy resource, providing education and training to staff. The role involves managing workflow, participating in departmental activities, and promoting safety and efficiency in medication use.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required, Doctorate preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience; supervisory experience not required
- Licenses including MO Medication Therapy Services and RPh certification
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and communication skills
Key Duties:
- Oversee medication processes and support staff compliance with regulations
- Participate in meetings and committees, contributing to policy and practice improvements
- Evaluate medication orders, ensuring optimal patient outcomes
- Identify opportunities to improve safety and efficiency in medication use
Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate in Pharmacy with 2-5 years of experience.
