Role: Clinical Nurse specializing in Kidney/Liver Transplant Surgery, providing direct patient care in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within nursing standards.
- Educate patients and families on managing their illness, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Develop, communicate, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Promote patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development.
- Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing; RN license required.
- New graduates and experienced nurses are welcome; preferred Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of experience.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work safely and alertly in a safety-sensitive position.
Key Duties: Support patients through complex transplant procedures, participate in transplant-specific orientation, critical care training, and nurse residency programs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, pharmacists, dietitians, social workers, and spiritual care providers.
