Role Overview:
Position: Rapid Response/Code Team Clinical Nurse, serving as a hospital-wide resource for emergency response and staff education.
The nurse responds to critical events such as Code Blue, Code White, traumas, and other emergencies, providing immediate care and guidance. They also offer clinical support and education to staff performing unfamiliar procedures.
- Minimum of 2 years of Critical Care or Emergency Department experience
- ACLS Certification required
- Availability for night shifts (7:15PM – 6:45AM)
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, and evaluation following nursing standards
- Promoting patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration
- Ensuring patient safety, quality, and compliance, while participating in professional development
- Developing and communicating individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and families
- Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations
Qualifications:
- Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred
- RN license required
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience
