Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care in an emergency department treating all ages, with responsibilities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, safety, and quality compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while considering patient preferences and barriers.
- Participate in activities promoting safety, quality, and professional development.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must hold a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree and RN licensure.
- Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with at least 2 years of experience.
- Prior emergency department experience required; supervisory experience is not necessary.
- Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Details:
