Clinical Nurse – PRN – Live Well Homecare

Role Overview:

The Clinical Nurse in this role provides direct patient care within a specialized 38-bed GI/GU Surgical Unit, focusing on conditions such as Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, colorectal and urological cancers, and post-surgical recovery. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, ensuring patient safety, education, and emotional support. The role involves assessing physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs, promoting patient-centered care, and participating in quality improvement activities. This position is safety-sensitive, requiring alertness and adherence to standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum of Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree with RN licensure; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

No prior experience required; 2+ years of experience and supervisory experience are preferred.

Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.

Ability to educate patients and families about care management, medication, and post-discharge needs.
