Clinical Nurse PRN

Role Overview: The Clinical Nurse provides direct patient care in a 38-bed GI/GU Surgical Unit, delivering exceptional nursing services to a diverse patient population. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with established standards, while promoting patient and family-centered care and ensuring safety and quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities: Develops and documents individualized care plans, educates patients and families on disease management and post-treatment care, and participates in professional development. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and barriers.

Qualifications & Skills: Requires a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree and RN licensure; Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience preferred. Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaborative skills are essential in a challenging, team-oriented environment.
