Role Overview: Provides direct patient care activities within established nursing standards, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.
- Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
- Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care continuum.
- Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
- Works in a safety-sensitive role, maintaining constant alertness and safety awareness.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Valid RN licensure required.
- Preferably 2+ years of experience in critical care, emergency, or urgent care settings.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
