Role Overview:
This nursing position involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced PACU environment, supporting interventional radiology cases and managing pre/post-operative bays. The role requires assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, with a focus on patient and family-centered care, safety, and quality compliance. Nurses will educate patients and families, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication across the continuum of care.
Responsibilities include:
- Promoting a healing environment through education and support
- Participating in safety, quality, and regulatory activities
- Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and cultural values
- Ensuring effective communication and documentation of care plans
Qualifications & Skills:
- Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred
- Current RN license
- No prior experience required; 2+ years of experience preferred for advanced roles
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
- Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a demanding environment
