Role Overview
This position provides immediate, 24/7 support for referring physicians by handling patient admissions, transport requests, consultations, appointment scheduling, and patient information requests. It involves a hybrid work model and requires a minimum of 2 years of pediatric ICU or ED nursing experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Promoting patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management and home care needs.
- Participating in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, along with professional development.
- Developing and documenting individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication across care teams.
- Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, and addressing barriers to involvement in care.
Qualifications:
- RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
- At least 2 years of pediatric ICU or ED nursing experience.
- Strong computer and typing skills are preferred.
