Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care in specialized units such as ICUs and ER, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
Promotes patient and family-centered care by educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Participates in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural needs. Utilizes critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an acute care setting (preferred)
- Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and safety awareness
