Clinical Nurse – Pediatric ER

Role Overview:

This position involves providing direct patient care in a pediatric emergency department, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care within established standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote patient and family-centered care by educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.
  • Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and compliance with regulations.
  • Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and families, ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care.
  • Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs using critical nursing skills, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
  • Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness to ensure safety.
  • Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing; RN licensure required.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and two years of experience in emergency or pediatric acute care.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills.
