Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and medication administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a healing environment by educating patients and their families on post-treatment care and medication use.
- Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
- Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the healthcare team and patient or caregivers, and communicate care plans across settings.
- Assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific factors.
- Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness and safe practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Current RN license required.
- No prior experience necessary; 2 years of experience is preferred for advanced roles.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
