Clinical Nurse – PACU Weekend Option

Role Overview:

This position involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced Critical Care PACU environment, supporting a 90-bed unit with responsibilities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote patient and family-centered care by educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
  • Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the interprofessional team, patients, and families.
  • Use critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
  • Engage in professional development and adhere to safety protocols as this role is safety-sensitive.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Licensure: Valid RN license.
  • Experience: No prior experience required; two years of experience and supervisory experience are preferred.
  • Specialized experience in Phase 1 PACU or level 1 critical care is advantageous.
