Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Participates in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development. Develops and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care. Utilizes critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations. This safety-sensitive role requires alertness and safe work practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing, RN license, no prior experience required
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, 2+ years of experience
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Experience in critical care or procedural areas is advantageous
