Clinical Nurse – PACU

Role Overview:

This nursing position involves providing direct patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, adhering to established standards. The role emphasizes promoting patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and post-treatment needs. Nurses develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care settings. Critical nursing skills are essential for evaluating physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and cultural factors. The position requires working in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safety at all times.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Educating patients and families about care and medication management.
  • Participating in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Developing, implementing, and documenting care plans with clear goals.
  • Assessing patient needs holistically, including emotional, spiritual, and cultural aspects.
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development.
  • Qualifications & Skills:

  • Required: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree, RN license, no prior experience necessary.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
  • Critical thinking, communication, and patient advocacy skills are essential.
