Role Overview:
Seeking Registered Nurses to join a dynamic, learning-focused team in a specialized inpatient unit. The role involves providing direct patient care for orthopedic, spine, urological, and plastic surgery patients, ensuring safe and effective post-operative recovery in a short-stay environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Promoting patient and family-centered care through education on illness management, home care, and medication administration.
- Participating in safety, quality, and compliance activities, along with ongoing professional development.
- Developing and executing individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
- Maintaining safety standards, as this is a safety-sensitive position.
Qualifications and skills required:
- Minimum of a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
- RN licensure required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Preferred experience includes at least 2 years of nursing experience, though no specific experience is mandatory.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills.
