Clinical Nurse – Operating Room Weekend Option

Role Summary:

This position involves providing direct patient care within an acute trauma and surgical environment, supporting complex procedures across specialties such as orthopedics, plastics, and reconstructive surgery. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring patient safety and promoting family-centered care. Responsibilities include patient education on illness management, medication administration, and post-treatment care, as well as participating in quality improvement and regulatory compliance activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred
  • Licensure: Active RN license
  • Experience: Six months of recent related clinical experience preferred; no supervisory experience required
  • Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive environment
