Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care within a fast-paced, critical care environment, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing activities. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations.
- Participate in patient safety initiatives, professional development, and ensure effective communication across care transitions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Active RN license; Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred with at least 2 years of experience.
- Passion for team collaboration, dedication to orientation and learning scrub and circulate skills.
