Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in a fast-paced operating room setting within trauma, orthopedic, plastics, and reconstructive surgery specialties. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities: Assesses, diagnoses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care; educates patients and families on illness management and post-treatment needs; promotes safety, regulatory compliance, and professional development; communicates care plans across teams; considers psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and patient preferences.
Qualifications & Skills: Nursing diploma/associate’s degree required; RN licensure mandatory; preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and <2 years of experience. OR experience is preferred but not required. Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient-centered care skills are essential.
