Role: Clinical Nurse Operating Room responsible for providing direct patient care within an outpatient surgery center, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care in a safe, patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities:
- Promote patient and family-centered care, educate on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Participate in activities ensuring patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across care continuum.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and emotional factors.
- Use critical nursing skills to evaluate patient conditions and needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree in Nursing; RN license required.
- Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with at least 2 years of experience.
- OR experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work safely and maintain alertness; no call, holidays, or weekends required.
