Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care within a fast-paced perioperative environment, focusing on abdomen, pelvic, GYN, urology, general, and colorectal surgeries in an operating room with integrated ORs and robotic technology. The role includes assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care while promoting patient safety, education, and family-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient values and cultural preferences.
- Participate in activities that ensure high-quality care, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Contribute to a collaborative, professional environment, supporting ongoing development and excellence.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Active RN license required.
- No prior experience necessary; 2+ years of experience preferred.
- Ability to work safely, demonstrating alertness and professionalism.
