Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care in a specialized 30-bed unit focused on female-related health issues, primarily GYN Oncology. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. The nurse educates patients and families on managing illness, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team—including oncology nurses, advanced practice nurses, case managers, social workers, and physicians—is essential to coordinate high acuity, complex interventions, and holistic care.
