Role Overview:
This position is responsible for providing direct patient care in a 43-bed Med/Surg unit, utilizing relationship-based care philosophy. The RN will perform assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient needs, including physical, psychosocial, and emotional aspects. Responsibilities include educating patients and families on managing illnesses, promoting safety and quality, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Qualifications & Skills:
- Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Active RN license
- No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and responsibility
