Clinical Nurse – High Risk Cardiac

Role Overview

This position involves providing direct patient care in a high-risk cardiac unit, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. The nurse promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities. Responsibilities include developing and documenting individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team, and assessing patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting their values and cultural backgrounds.

Qualifications & Skills

  • RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; BSN preferred
  • Experience in telemetry or cardiac care is preferred
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe work practices
