Role Overview:
This is a Clinical Nurse position on an 18-bed Med/Surg unit, focusing on providing direct patient care, assessments, planning, and evaluation within established nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and participation in safety, quality, and regulatory activities.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, and respecting patient values and cultural considerations. The position requires alertness and safety awareness as it is classified as safety-sensitive.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree and RN license; no prior experience required.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
- Licenses & Certifications: Active RN license.
