Role Overview:
This position provides direct patient care within a pediatric setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care according to established standards. The nurse promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management and medication administration, and participates in safety, quality, and regulatory activities. Responsibilities include developing individualized care plans, collaborating with the interprofessional team, and assessing patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting their values and cultural backgrounds.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree with an RN license.
- Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment and adapt to shift rotations, including day/night, weekends, and holidays.
