Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care across all ages in a hospital setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs. Participates in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and documents individualized care plans with collaborative input from patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific factors.
- Supports a safe and healing environment, ensuring effective communication across care continuum.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s preferred.
- Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license.
- Experience: No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred.
- Skills: Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking abilities; commitment to safety and quality care.
