Clinical Nurse Educator – Radiation Oncology

Role Overview:

This position involves creating and implementing staff education and professional development activities to enhance patient outcomes within the Radiation Oncology Department. It requires assessing educational needs, developing training programs, and collaborating with staff and external organizations to ensure ongoing clinical and non-clinical education.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing, planning, executing, and evaluating educational initiatives.
  • Collaborating on clinical training, continuing education, and professional growth opportunities.
  • Promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance through educational activities.
  • Working with leadership to identify staff educational needs and developing appropriate plans.
  • Participating in ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • BSN is required; RN license essential.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience; advanced degrees and certifications such as Basic Cardiovascular Life Support are preferred.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in staff education, training development, and regulatory standards.
