Clinical Nurse Educator – Radiation Oncology

Role Overview:

This position supports the Radiation Oncology Department in delivering education and professional development activities aimed at enhancing patient outcomes. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating ongoing training programs for both clinical and non-clinical staff, collaborating with staff and external partners to develop and evaluate educational opportunities, and promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. It requires working onsite Monday through Friday during daytime hours, with no weekends or holidays.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • BSN required; RN licensure essential.
  • 2-5 years of experience; supervisory experience not necessary.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in Nursing and 5-10 years of relevant experience, along with Basic Cardiovascular Life Support certification.

Key Duties:

  • Develop and implement staff education and professional development programs.
  • Collaborate with staff and external organizations to deliver clinically focused training.
  • Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Assess staff educational needs and create suitable learning plans.
  • Engage in ongoing professional growth and lifelong learning.
