Position: Clinical Nurse Coordinator – Cath Lab
Location: Edward Hospital
Type: Full Time, 40 hours/week
Responsibilities:
Provide clinical guidance, leadership, and support to nursing staff to ensure high-quality, safe patient care.
Serve as the department charge nurse, managing staff assignments, patient flow, bed placement, and coordinating add-on cases.
Lead daily huddles, communicate department priorities, and address workflow and safety concerns.
Manage staff schedules, attendance, performance, and daily staffing needs.
Provide direct patient care when needed and support staff education, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Current Illinois RN license.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); Master’s preferred.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience and 2 years in supervisory or leadership roles, such as charge nurse.
