Clinical Nurse Coordinator coordinates and leads patient-centered care in a 13-bed medical-surgical ICU.
Key Duties
- Direct, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care to ensure quality and continuity for ICU patients.
- Support and guide nursing staff, promoting teamwork and effective workflow.
- Assist with unit scheduling and manage supplies/resources to maintain readiness.
- Ensure adherence to established policies, clinical standards, and safety requirements.
Patient Care Focus
- Collaborate in care for patients with respiratory, septic, GI, metabolic, neurologic, oncology, and cardiac conditions.
Core Qualifications/Skills
- Strong clinical leadership and decision-making skills in an ICU environment.
- Ability to evaluate care delivery and address issues to maintain safe outcomes.
- Effective communication and staff support skills.
- Solid understanding of policy compliance, safety standards, and nursing care coordination.
