Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced, specialized unit, promoting patient and family-centered care, and educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing, implementing, and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations.
- Participating in safety initiatives, quality improvement, and professional development activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum education: Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree; preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Licensure: RN license required.
- Experience: No experience required; two years of experience preferred.
- Safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and safe work practices.
