Role Overview:
Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.
Participates in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in ongoing professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care.
Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values, cultural backgrounds, and preferences. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe work practices.
Qualifications:
- Nursing Diploma/Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
- RN licensure required.
- No prior experience necessary; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles.
