Role Overview:
The role involves providing pediatric nurse triage and after-hours exchange services to over 300 community pediatricians, utilizing triage guidelines, critical thinking, and physician preferences to determine appropriate patient care plans.
Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing and implementing care plans, educating families, and ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.
Work is primarily remote, with some in-office requirements during connectivity issues.
Part-time schedule includes evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, with seasonal on-call duties.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2-5 years of nursing experience in emergency, NICU, PICU, pediatric primary care, or related areas.
- RN licensure required; Bachelor’s degree preferred for advanced roles.
- Strong assessment, communication, and computer skills.
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and professionalism.
