Role Overview:
This position involves providing comprehensive outpatient obstetric and gynecological care, including routine exams, prenatal care, and family planning, to women from diverse backgrounds. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, health promotion, and education, ensuring safety and quality compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within nursing standards.
- Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and cultural factors.
- Participate in activities promoting safety, quality, and professional development.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree; preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Experience: At least 2 years of RN experience with an OB background preferred; no supervisor experience required.
- Licenses & Certifications: Valid RN license required.
