Responsibilities:
- Provide behavioral health services for children and adults, focusing on prevention, treatment, and recovery.
- Perform psychiatric and medical assessments, evaluate co-existing conditions, and collaborate with primary care providers.
- Monitor medication use, side effects, and interactions to ensure appropriate treatment.
Qualifications:
- Valid California medical license (MD or DO) and DEA certificate.
- Board-certified in Psychiatry (American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology).
- Completion of ACGME-approved residency in psychiatry or family medicine/psychiatry.
- At least 2 years of full-time experience as a psychiatrist in child/adult psychiatry.
- Must have Medicare and Medicaid numbers prior to employment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, experience with children, and proficiency with electronic health records.
Position is part-time, offering $141.42 – $150.00 per hour, depending on experience.
