Child Psychiatrist – Live Well Homecare

Seeking a contract Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist for 16-30 hours/week (onsite and virtual) in Long Beach, CA, to provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment for children and adolescents within a behavioral health program.

Conduct psychiatric assessments, diagnose, and develop treatment plans.

Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications with follow-up and education.

Collaborate with therapists, case managers, families, and other team members.

Maintain clinical documentation per regulations and agency policies.

Provide coverage for absent psychiatrists and demonstrate clinical leadership.

Requirements include a valid California medical license, board certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, DEA license, and experience working with diverse youth populations, preferably in DMH-funded settings. Bilingual skills are a plus. Compensation ranges from $210 to $230 per hour, with a flexible schedule. The role offers a hybrid work environment in Long Beach, CA.
