Seeking a contract Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist (16-30 hours/week, hybrid onsite/virtual) to provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up for children and adolescents in Long Beach, CA.
Perform assessments, diagnose, and treat a diverse range of psychiatric conditions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and families.
Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications, offering psychoeducation and support.
Maintain clinical documentation per agency, county, and federal standards, and participate in team meetings.
Work independently within professional and agency guidelines, promoting a strengths-based, community-focused approach.
Requirements include a valid California medical license, board certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, DEA license, experience with youth mental health, and proficiency with electronic health records. Bilingual skills are desirable.
