Role: Provides direct nursing care to patients across all age groups, overseeing clinical operations during their shift. Acts as a resource for staff, guiding and supporting them while communicating patient needs, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leadership.
Qualifications: Must have a nursing degree, with at least one year of hospital experience and a current Georgia RN license or multistate license. BLS certification is required. Preferred qualifications include two or more years of hospital experience, a bachelor’s degree, and advanced specialty certification. Demonstrated clinical competency is essential.
