Role Overview: Provides high-quality nursing care as part of the patient care team, focusing on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs. Acts as a key communication link between patients, families, providers, and staff, ensuring patient-centered care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate patient conditions; assist with care plans and implement appropriate actions to promote outcomes.
- Deliver safe, effective care following policies, documenting assessments, care provided, and incidents accurately.
- Advocate for patients by addressing concerns, providing education, and communicating vital information to families and care team members.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, contribute ideas, and support organizational goals for quality and satisfaction.
- Maintain professional competence through ongoing training, certifications, and participation in professional organizations.
- Mentor and support the growth of fellow nurses, fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred.
- Current RN license (single state or multi-state compact).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, teamwork, and commitment to professional growth.
